Life Skills Program
Our Life Skills program
serves individuals ages 15 and up. To be considered for
this program, the young adult must be able to participate
in community activities and should require 1:1 teacher to
student ratio. The curriculum provides for daily living
skills and social needs.
Initially, each young adult
will be provided a Functional Behavior Assessment and
Functional Communication evaluation and follow-up if
warranted. There is a daily structured schedule of
activities which varies from day to day. Activities
include, but are not limited to:

Youth or Senior Minister of the Mansfield Church of Christ
An
application
form must be completed, and an interview with the
Director and Supervisor will determine admittance to the
program.
Tuition includes music
therapy and activity fees. Equitherapy fee is paid directly
to Wings of Hope. If your young adult is being served by
an HCS Medicaid waiver program, please contact us
regarding the tuition. These programs may help defray the
cost of tuition. Transportation is provided for all
community activities and field trips.
Opportunities for these
young adults are extremely limited. Life Point provides an
alternative for families seeking a “better life” for their
young adult.
