Academic Program
 

Our academic program serves moderately functioning children with an autism spectrum disorder.

  • Children ages 12 and up with moderate functioning autism will be considered

  • Multi-sensory classroom with individualized education plans and curriculum for each child

  • Life skills and prevocational skills will be introduced

  • Christian environment focusing on traditional academics, exposure to the arts, and behavior management/modification

  • Emphasis on subject mastery and student success – no formal testing

  • Teacher is dually certified in Special Education and General Education

  • Small class size, 5:1 student to teacher ratio

  • Weekly Chapel with the Youth or Senior Minister of the Mansfield Church of Christ

  • Educational Field Trips

  • Tuition required

  • Parental involvement encouraged

An application form must be completed initially and an interview with the Director and the classroom teacher will determine admittance to the program.
